The Fluvarium offers scheduled year round school tours with public tours during July, August and September. Embark on a group adventure to learn firsthand about Pippy Park and the ecosystems which shape it!

SCHOOL TOUR

We host school tours grade k-12 and supply pre-visit kits designed to help students explore background information prior to a visit to The Fluvarium with support from Science Culture Canada. From this kit, the teacher may choose the activities best suited to the class. Each activity kit contains posters, materials, activity plans and worksheets to supplement your lesson plans. FAMILY BUBBLE TOUR

Looking for a safe, fun filled morning event to spend with your family ‘bubble’ members this summer? Then why not come on over to the Fluvarium to take part in our “Family Bubble Experience!” For an hour you’ll be led by one of our knowledgeable educators on a personal adventure through the levels of the Fluvarium, so the floor will literally be ‘yours!’
Activities include a no-touch scavenger hunt, an ‘invertebrate’ demonstration, brown trout feeding time, and a chance to get up close and personal with our web footed friends, the frogs and toads!
July – August
Monday to Friday  |  9:00am, 10:00 am, or 11:00 am
September
Saturday & Sunday   |   11:00 am
(The event lasts for ~ 1 hour)
Cost: Set rate of $20.00 per Family of four, or less ($5 extra for additional members)
Programs take place with best practices for the prevention of COVID-19 in the home/workplace, such as physical distancing, use of face masks by our educators, handwashing and sanitization of high touch surface areas between visits.
