Our Summer Nature Camps are the perfect choice for the budding naturalist or animal lover. Campers will go outdoors every day and use the area around The Fluvarium and Long Pond as the home base for camp explorations. With small group sizes – fun, friendship, and outdoor adventures await!
Our camps are designed to capture the interest and the imagination of the campers.

We are very excited to announce our brand-new Virtual Summer Camp! The Fluvarium education team has been hard at work over the past few weeks to bring virtual camp to you!
Virtual Nature Camp (AGES 6-10)
See pond bugs up-close, learn about the properties and forces of air, learn all about frogs and toads, visit the marsh, catch tadpoles and get messy in the Aqua Lab. You can also try our cool experiments, make your own frogs and more activities with materials you can find in your home! On the last day of each camp week will be a Live Talk with our educators and camp friends.

In Person Camp
Camps run Monday to Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm. Drop off and pick up is allowed at a maximum of 30 minutes before and after the start and end of the day. There is a supervised lunch break and Campers must bring their own, nut-free, healthy lunch and two snacks. Other allergy concerns will be addressed as they arise.
DISCOVERY CAMP (Grades K-3)
Discover the ecosystems around us as we explore the forests, streams and wetlands in our own community and investigate some of the amazing things nature has to offer. Each day is exciting and new by focusing on a different theme.

ADVENTURE CAMP (Grades 3-6)
This is an ideal camp for curious young people who want to better understand the natural world around them and their own role in it. The theme of this camp is very different from the Discovery Camp and planned with this older age group in mind. The structure of each week will remain the same, though some of the content will be directed by the interests of the campers!
EASTER CAMP (Grades K-2)
Connect with nature this Spring Break at The Fluvarium’s Nature and Art Camp! This program will include arts and crafts and discovering more about the critters in and around The Fluvarium.
There are 4 all-day camps from April 23 – 26 open to grades K-2.
$33 plus HST per session
There is limited spacing and preregistration is required.
