The program is NOW FULL for this season, we are taking wait listing for periodic drop in openings and future programs.
This spring 2016 program will take place every Monday from 10:45 a.m.-12 p.m. starting April 11 and run until June 13th, 2016.
Children ages 1-6 and their parents are invited to join us at The Fluvarium for our Froglets Program. We will walk and explore near Long Pond and Nagle’s Brook Hill, share stories, songs and watch for critters who call this their home.
Pre-registration is required. Limit of 10 families per session
The program will cost $11 per session and includes 1 adult and 1 child; each additional person will be an extra $3 fee. Also offered is a season rate of $55; this rate will still include 1 adult and 1 child and the $3 fee for each additional person per day.
This is an excellent opportunity for parents and tots to have fun while learning about rivers, ponds and forests. We emphasize respect for nature and all its “critters” while encouraging gentle hands on discovery.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Annual RBC Rennie’s River Duck Race is a fundraiser for the Quidi Vidi / Rennie’s River Development Foundation. Funds from this event help support the environmental education, conservation and stewardship initiatives of the Quidi Vidi / Rennie’s River Development Foundation.
The Duck Race has been an annual tradition since 1988, attracting large crowds to the banks of Rennie’s River, to watch up to 5,000 yellow rubber ducks make their way down the river to the finish line. The first ducks across the finish line win prizes for their sponsor.
